Memorandum Signers’ Monument, Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Erected in honour of the men who signed the Transylvanian Memorandum and stood up to the de-nationalisation measures against Romanians being undertaken by the Austro-Hungarian government. The dedication of the monument took place exactly 100 years after the memorandum signers were sent to prison.
I blended 2 exposures, 44 s and 226 s, taken with the help of a Lee Filters Big Stopper. I then spent a few hours in Adobe Photoshop working on selections for the fine art treatment. It was quite a challenge as it’s the first time I do such a big work on selections, but it was in the end very informative. I really hope it will allow me to propose new photos of this style in a near future
